The WaySeer Manifesto

ATTENTION: All you rule-breakers, you misfits and troublemakers – all you free spirits and pioneers – all you visionaries and non-conformists … Everything that the establishment has told you is wrong with you – is actually what’s right with you.You see things others don’t. You are hardwired to change the world. Unlike 9 out of 10 people – your mind is irrepressible – and this threatens authority. You were born to be a revolutionary. You can’t stand rules because in your heart you know there’s a better way.

You have strengths dangerous to the establishment – and it wants them eliminated, So your whole life you’ve been told your strengths were weaknesses – Now I’m telling you otherwise.Your impulsivity is a gift – impulses are your key to the miraculous, Your distractibility – is an artifact of your inspired creativity, Your mood swings – reflect the natural pulse of life, they give you unstoppable energy when you’re high and deep soulful insight when you’re low,
Been diagnosed with a “disorder”? That’s society’s latest way to deny it’s own illness by pointing the finger at you. Your addictive personality is just a symptom of your vast underused capacity for heroic, creative expression and spiritual connection. your utter lack of repression, your wide eyed idealism, your unmitigated open mind – didn’t anyone ever tell you?! these are the traits shared by the greatest pioneers and visionaries and innovators, revolutionaries, procrastinators and drama queens, activists on the social scene, space cadets and mavericks, philosophers and derelicts, business suits flying fighter jets, football stars and sex addicts, celebrities with ADD, alcoholics who seek novelty, first responders – prophets and saints, mystics and change agents.
We are – all – the same – you know ‘cuz we’re all affected by the way – We are – all – the same – you know ‘cuz we’re all attracted to the flame – You know in your heart that there’s a natural order to life, something more sovereign than any man-made rules or laws could ever express.

This natural order is called “the Way.”
The Way is the eternal substrate of the cosmos. It guides the very current of time and space.

The Way is known by some as the Will of God, Divine Providence, the Holy Spirit, the implicate order, the Tao, reverse-entropy, life-force, but for now we’ll simply call it “the Way.” The Way is reflected in you as the source of your inspiration, the source of your passions, your wisdom, your enthusiasm, your intuition, your spiritual fire – love. The Way takes the chaos out of the Universe and breathes life into it by reflecting divine order. The Way, when experienced by the mind, is genius, when perceived through the eyes is beauty, when felt with the senses is grace, when allowed into the heart … is love.
Most people cannot sense the Way directly. … But then there are the Wayseers. The keepers of the flame. Wayseers have an unexplainable knack for just knowing the Way. They sense it in their very being. They can’t tell you why or how they arrived at the right answer. They just know it in their core. They can’t show their work. So don’t ask. Their minds simply resonate with the Way. When the Way is present, so are they.
While others are blind to it and society begs you to ignore it, “the Way” stirs you inside.

Neurological repression blocks most people’s awareness of the Way – censoring all thoughts and impulses from the unconscious is their prefrontal cortex – the gestapo of the brain –  nothing which violates its socialized programming even gets through; but your mind is different. your mind has been cracked wide open to the Way – by some miraculous genetic trait, some psychotropic chemical or maybe even by the will of your very soul, your brain’s reward pathways have been hijacked – dopamine employed to overthrow the fascist dictatorship of your prefrontal cortex – now your brain is free of repression, your mind free of censorship, your awareness exposed to the turbulent seas of the unconscious – through this open doorway divine light shines into your consciousness showing you the Way. This is what makes you a Wayseer.
90% of human civilization is populated with those who’s brains are blocked to the Way.  Their brains are hardwired to enforce the social programming indoctrinated since birth. Unlike you they cannot break out of this programming, because they have not yet experienced the necessary revolution of mind. These programmed people take social institutions and rules very seriously.

Society is full of games programmed to keep peoples’ minds occupied so they will not revolt. These games often cause sick fixations on peculiar protocols, power structures, taboos and domination – all subtle forms of human bondage – This distinct form of madness is not only tolerated by the masses but insisted upon. The programmed ones believe in rules so forcefully they become willing to destroy anyone who violates them.

Wayseers are the ones who call their bluff.

Since Wayseer minds are free to reject social programming, Wayseers readily see social institutions for what they are – imaginary games.  Wayseers comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable. Helping those who are lost in these games and refuse to help themselves is a calling of many Wayseers. Since Wayseers are the ones who keep contact with the original source of reality – they are able to disrupt societal conventions and even governments to realign humanity with the Way.
The Wayseers are an ancient lineage.

A kind of priesthood – carriers of the flame – ones “in the know.”  There must always be Wayseers to reform the dizzying psychotic spinning gears of society – giant mindless hamster wheels obscuring the pure blue sky, keeping humanity shackled in a darkened cage – so Wayseers are called – to shed light on the madness of society – to continually resurrect the timeless transcendent Spirit of Truth –
Wayseers reveal this divine truth by devoting themselves to the birth of some creative or disruptive act expressed through art or philosophy, innovations to shake up industry, revolutions for democracy, coups that topple hypocrisy, movements of solidarity, changes that leave a legacy, rebellions against policy, spirit infused technology, moments of clarity, things that challenge barbarity, watersheds of sincerity, momentous drives for charity.
We are – all – the same – you know
‘cuz we’re all affected by the way –
We are – all – the same – you know

This is your calling, Wayseer. You’ve found your tribe.

Clarify Your Boundaries

fences

by Helaine Iris –

Is it Inside or Out?

I listened intently as my client described how lousy his past week had been. Up to that point in our work together his progress had been steady, and his energy level had gradually increased. This week, however, he felt miserable, physically and emotionally.

I asked him if he could identify any factors that might have created the shift in his energy. He told me about some increased pressure at work and that he stopped doing his daily spiritual practice, something he had made a commitment to himself to maintain.

Suddenly, in the middle of our investigation, he changed the subject and began to tell me about a small drama unfolding with his neighbor. He shared that the adjacent boundary lines with this neighbor had never been clearly defined. Recently, the neighbor took it upon himself to mark the property line with some stakes according to his own interpretation.

The neighbor’s act annoyed my client. It also re-opened a can of worms that had been closed long ago. Although reticent, my client was ready to initiate a conversation with the neighbor. He wanted to clarify the property line question. What became strikingly curious to both of us was why he’d been willing to tolerate the unclear boundary for so many years.

I then pointed out what seemed like an interesting connection between his lousy week, stopping his spiritual practice and the property line issue with his neighbor.

I could see it in his eyes as it dawned on him that perhaps he had not clearly defined and stated the importance of his own internal boundary, in this case maintaining his spiritual practice. He unconsciously dropped something instrumental to his self-care in deference to the demands of his work.

How interesting that what was reflected in my client’s outer world was a projection of what was going on in his inner world. His irritation with the long-standing property line issue and the neighbor’s action came to light when he discovered that he crossed his own internal boundary and began to feel undesirable consequences. He was having a hard time “staking” off his own inner boundary and became aware of it when his neighbor took the initiative to stake off his.

With this profound awareness, the property line dispute began to look like a gift. We were both awed at the way things show up in life to offer valuable lessons.

What’s happening in your outer world that might point to an opportunity to learn something about yourself? Where are you crossing your own internal boundaries and projecting them as “problems” with the world?

Here are a few suggestions to help you clarify your own boundaries:

1. Look for the irritations in your own life. Where does it appear as if the problem lies outside of you? Take a look at what boundaries you might want to set for yourself.

2. It’s often not enough to just “set” your boundary; you need to communicate it as well. What good is having a boundary if no one knows about it?

3. Ask for help in maintaining your boundaries or your commitments to yourself. Can you enlist the support of a friend or loved one to help keep you on track?

4. Be flexible with your boundaries. Having a wall around you isn’t the goal. The intention of boundaries is to remind yourself that you deserve what’s important to you.

As the session came to a close my client knew what he needed to do, both inside and out. He was already seeing creative ways to address and resolve the conflict with his neighbor as well as reinstate the practices that kept him balanced and focused.

I could sense his relief in having the boundary lines clear after many years of tension. He went on his way feeling better and looking forward to living what he learned. Not only do good fences make good literal neighbors, they make us good neighbors within our self as well.

It’s YOUR life…imagine the possibilities!

Doubt Your Doubt

by Heidi Bilonick –

How to Follow Your Instincts & Quiet Your Inner Critic:

I was sitting in my seventh corporate conference in Las Vegas for the company I was once an executive and now a consultant. As I sat there, I looked around at all of the new faces. Their salivating smiles dripped with fresh perspectives and were hungry to be fed by the promise of promotion. As I looked around I thought, “Is this it?” “Is this what I am meant to do?” and if so, “What now?” As I looked around and wrestled with the notion of getting up and hopping on the next plane out of there, I felt a sense of PEACE. I just knew in my gut that I had reached the end of my time with that company.

It just wasn’t resonating with me anymore, but as I wrestled with the decision, I also felt a sharp shooting pain. As I moved my hand over my body and tried to put my finger on where it was coming from, I slid my hand in my pocket. I knew that’s where it had the potential to hurt the most.

I had been miserable for a very long time and had constantly prayed for signs. I believe I was given them over and over in the form of a nagging feeling of being miserable, but I didn’t have the “proof” I needed that what I was doing wasn’t right for me anymore.

So, hand in my pocket and peace in my gut, I got up and left.

A few days later that old tape started playing in my head, the one that casts doubt. It says things like: “Oh, you really did it this time!” “You were making so much money!” “You REALLY think you are going to make it totally on your own?” “Are you sure this was the right thing to do?”

This tape, I realize, is the result of FEAR. And I know that if I were to continue to listen to this tape, not only would I feel terrible and be paralyzed, but I would also be attracting more thoughts like it through the Law of Attraction.

So, I went outside to pray about it and get some space. It was dark out and I sat in a chair. That tape started to play. So, I asked God to give me a “sign”. I said, “God, please tell me I have made the right decision!” And then I felt a voice say “Look up”. When I did, I saw an airplane. It was heading West. I used to take that plane every Sunday to go to work. My immediate thought was, “Oh GREAT GOD! There it is! My Sign! I really did miss the boat, or plane, or whatever! What am I going to do now?” And in the midst of my panic, I heard the voice say, “No, higher.” I lifted my gaze and my eyes fell upon a star. I sat there quietly in amazement as the plane flew directly beneath the star and I heard, “That plane will never land where you are going.”

Now I am not one to be a big fan of the Woo Woo. I don’t practice astral projection or channel Charlie to help me make decisions. But, this was real. I understand that many of you may be wrestling with what you feel is your destiny and how it conflicts with your current situation. What is required is a leap of faith and a belief in you.

You have to know that when you allow that tape to play, you are interfering with God’s plan for your life. And when you worry, you are saying “I don’t trust you.” You are holding yourself back.

So, how do you stop it? How do you doubt your doubt? You say, “NEXT!” whenever that tape even hints it’s going to play. You challenge those thoughts by asking yourself, “Is this true or could there be another possibility?” “How would it feel and what would I be capable of if I chose to believe in myself?”

Life has enough critics. Don’t be one of them.

Signs From Above

Angel Art Real Angel Picture

by Doreen Virtue –

One of the most amazing and blessed things about having angels around you is that they’ll do almost anything to ensure you’re happy and fulfilled. They also make sure you’re comforted in times of need. Here are steps you can follow when you’d like your angels to give you guidance:

1. Ask: Because of the Law of Free Will, the angels can only help you if you ask for their help. It’s best not to ask for a specific type sign, but to just notice the repetitive patterns that appear after you put in your request.

2. Have faith: Trust that the angels are with you and have faith in the signs that they send.

3. Trust in Divine timing: Every prayer is heard and answered, but sometimes the fulfillment seems delayed as the angels work behind the scenes to orchestrate the details.

4. Notice the signs: If you’ve asked for signs and believe you haven’t received one, it could be that you haven’t noticed or trusted the ones that have been delivered. Not to worry though, as there’s an endless supply! Ask for other signs and request that they help you recognize and understand them.

5. Take action when guided: Signs from above often give you messages about actions you can take to bring about the answer to your prayers.

Listening for Spirit

by Norma Gentile –

Do you hear your guides or angels sing to you? Most of us would answer ‘no’. Have you noticed tones, either low or high pitched, in one ear but not the other? Or ringing that seems to come from inside your ears?

Try this simple process. As you are reading, notice any three sounds in the background – traffic, a TV or radio, conversation, birds…anything within earshot. Now listen underneath these audible sounds. Start by noticing what the sound is like right next to you, at the entrance to your ears. What do you hear, or even feel? Does your sense of your body change? Now listen to what you are hearing inside of your ears. Is the sound or the silence the same inside the right ear as the left ear, or different?

Finally bring your attention to the point between your ears, in the center of your head. What changes do you notice in what you hear, how your body feels, or your overall quality of attention?

Since you have started reading this article, do you have a keener awareness of the sounds around you? Is your body finding this increased awareness relaxing, or are you growing more irritated by these background sounds?

Here is a perfect example of how the external world affects us in a constant and ongoing fashion. Equivalently, we often react to circumstances based on the way they are making us feel, rather than based on how we would like them to feel. Simply put, we react to external stimuli, rather than act upon internal guidance.

Listening to the outer world, we found a variety of sounds moving through our bodies as well as our ears. What about the inner world? Focusing on the sounds or qualities of silence present in ourselves provides us with a reference point for our own spiritual self.

What you give your attention to grows. As you give your attention to the inner silence or tones, you consciously affirm your connection with those guides and angels that dwell with you. These sounds, or even silences, are the bridges that span the dimensions between worlds.

Now put this into action. Bring your attention to the point within or near your ears that seemed the most active for you. Address the sound or silence as you would a new aquaintance, with respect and a bit a curiosity. Ask the sound or silence for one thing it would like to convey to you. Chances are it will be a simple, yet important idea. The information might also be given to you as a color, a smell, or even a momentary sensation of warmth or motion.

After receiving the message, thank the sound or silence for its generosity and all that it has given you. Suggest that it move on to wherever it needs to go to now for its own continued evolutionary growth.

Take a moment to see it leave, moving into the Earth, the Sun, or perhaps out into the Universe. Now how does the area of your ears feel? Does your body overall feel different? Did you release some energy in a sigh, large breath or yawn?

By noticing any changes, you give yourself greater permission to do this again – afterall – something happened!

Guides and angels often are perceived as tones or qualities of silence inside of the ears. Sometimes tinitus, or ringing in the ears, is caused by the presence of these beings too close to the physical body.

Guides do not have bodies, and it is up to us, as physical beings, to let them know when we are uncomfortable with the way they are connecting to us.

By bringing your attention to the tone, you are in essence ‘dialing’ the guide’s ‘phone number’. By thanking them and asking them to leave, you are telling them (and yourself) to be sure to ‘hang up’ after the conversation.

When you take private time for prayer or meditation, try listening not only to the music you enjoy of the external world, but to the inner world also.

Dancing with the Universe

by Deepak Chopra –

Live in Grace – Our body, our mind, our emotions, everything in our physiology is changing moment to moment, depending on the time of the day, the cycles of the moon, the seasons and even the tides. Our body is part of the universe, and everything that happens in the universe ultimately affects the physiology of our body. Biological rhythms are an expression of the rhythms of the Earth in relationship to the entire cosmos, and just four rhythms – daily rhythms, tidal rhythms, monthly or lunar rhythms and annual or seasonal rhythms – are the basis of all of the other rhythms in our body.

As the Earth spins on its axis, we experience a twenty-four-hour cycle of night and day that we call the circadian rhythm. This rhythm is based on the spinning of the Earth, and everything in our body, being part of the Earth, is also spinning and following the rhythm of the Earth. When this biological rhythm is disrupted by long-distance travel, for example, we experience jet lag. Or if we work a night shift, we don’t feel quite right even if we rest during the day, because our biological rhythms are out of tune with the cosmic rhythms. Even a little bit of subjective experience tells us that at certain times of the day we feel hungry, while at other times of the day we feel sleepy. We know that we tend to feel one way at four o’clock in the afternoon and another way at four o’clock in the morning.

Tidal rhythms also have an effect on our physiology. These rhythms are the result of the gravitational effect of the sun, the moon and the stars in the distant galaxies on the oceans of planet Earth. We have an ocean within us that is similar to the oceans of our planet. More than 60 percent of our body is water, and more than 60 percent of our planet is water. So we experience a low tide and a high tide, and the tides ebb and flow in our own physiology. When we feel out of sorts, our body is out of synch with the body of the universe. Spending time near the ocean, or anywhere in nature, can help us to synchronize our rhythms with nature’s rhythms.

The lunar rhythm is a twenty-eight-day cycle that occurs as a result of the movement of the Earth, the sun and the moon in relationship to one another. This rhythm is evident in the waxing and waning of the moon. We see the full moon, the half moon, no moon and then the cycle starts all over again. Human fertility and menstruation are good examples of lunar rhythms, and there are many other twenty-eight-day cycles. When I worked as a physician in an emergency room, we would frequently expect to see patients with certain types of problems depending on the time of day and the cycles of the moon.

As the Earth moves around the sun, we experience seasonal rhythms as distinct biochemical changes in the body-mind. So we are more likely to fall in love in spring or get depressed in winter. People with a condition known as seasonal affective disorder get depressed in winter but feel better when you expose them to sunlight. Seasonal changes affect not only the biochemistry of the human body; they affect the biochemistry of trees, flowers, butterflies, bacteria and everything throughout nature.

The Earth tilts on its axis in the spring, and flowers bloom, groundhogs come out of the ground, birds migrate, fish return to their spawning grounds and mating rituals begin. People are moved to write poetry, lovers sing songs, and young and old hearts fall in love. Seasonal rhythms affect us biologically, mentally, emotionally, and it all has to do with the relationship of the Earth to the sun.

There are other cycles and rhythms that oscillate for just a few seconds, and there are rhythms that last anywhere from thirty minutes to twenty-eight hours called ultradian rhythms. There are cycles within cycles, and it gets very complicated, but it’s all one symphony. All of these rhythms create the symphony of the universe, and the body-mind is always trying to synchronize its rhythms with universal rhythms. To separate the body-mind from the rest of the cosmos is to misperceive things as they really are. The body-mind is part of a larger mind; it’s part of the cosmos, and cosmic rhythms result in profound changes in our physiology. The universe is truly a symphony of the stars. And when our body-mind is in synch with this symphony, everything is spontaneous and effortless, and the exuberance of the universe flows through us in joyful ecstasy.

When the rhythms of our body-mind are in synch with nature’s rhythms, when we are living in harmony with life, we are living in the state of grace. To live in grace is to experience that state of consciousness where things flow effortlessly and our desires are easily fulfilled. Grace is magical, synchronistic, coincidental, joyful. It’s that good-luck factor. But to live in grace we have to allow nature’s intelligence to flow through us without interfering.

Theoretically, if we were totally aligned with the cosmos, if we were totally in harmony with its rhythms, and if we had zero stress, then there would be very little entropy in our body. Our body wouldn’t age if we were totally synchronized with the cycles of the universe. If it did undergo entropy, it would be on the scale of the universe, which is cosmic cycles or eons of time. But our body-mind is not totally aligned with the rhythms of the universe; and why isn’t it? Stress. You see, as soon as we have a thought, any thought, it interferes with the innate tendency of the biological rhythms to synchronize with the universal rhythms.

How do we interfere with nature’s intelligence? In spiritual terms, we can say that we interfere when we identify with our self-image and lose our inner self; when we lose our sense of connection with our soul, our source. In more common terms, we can say that we interfere when we start worrying, when we start anticipating problems, when we start thinking, “What can go wrong?” When we try to control everything, when we are afraid, when we feel isolated – all these things interfere with the flow of nature’s intelligence. Anytime we feel resistance, anytime things are going wrong, anytime we feel frustration, anytime there is too much effort, then we are not connecting with our source, the field of pure consciousness that manifests as the infinite diversity of the universe. The state of fear is the state of separation; it is resistance to what is. If we don’t have resistance, then it’s all spontaneous, effortless ease.

Our body is constantly speaking to us through signals of comfort and discomfort, pleasure and pain, attraction and repulsion. When we listen to the subtle nuances of sensation in our body, we are accessing intuitive intelligence. This intelligence is contextual, relational, nurturing, holistic and wise. Intuitive intelligence is more accurate and precise than anything that exists in the realm of rational thought. Intuition is not a thought; it is the non-local cosmic field of information that whispers to us in the silence between our thoughts. So when we listen to our body’s wisdom, when we become aware of the sensations in our body, we will know the whole cosmos, because the whole cosmos is experienced as sensations in our body.

If we are out of harmony with universal rhythms, the signal that comes to us is a sense of discomfort, whether it’s physical, mental or emotional. When we are flowing in harmony with the universe, the signal that comes to us is a sense of comfort, ease or joy. In reality, these sensations are the voice of spirit, which speaks to us at the finest level of feeling in our body. When we offer our body our deep listening, we will hear the voice of spirit, because our body is a bio-computer that is constantly plugged into the cosmic psyche. Our body has a computing ability that can instantly take into account the infinity of details that create every event in our life.

Knowing all this, why not treat your body with reverence and take care of it? Nurture your body with your loving attention. Let go of all constriction and tightness in your consciousness so that your body can relax x into the rhythms of the universe. If you pay attention to the rhythms and cycles of your body-mind, and if you become a little familiar with cosmic rhythms, you’ll see that you can synchronize your body’s rhythms with the rhythms of the universe. You don’t have to be an expert, just pay a little attention to this. Notice how you feel at different times of the day and at different times of the month depending on the lunar cycle. Look at the sky, and observe the cycles of the moon. If you look at a newspaper, check the high tide and low tide. Feel your body and see how it relates to each of the seasons. Understanding these rhythms can really help you, but the following information is all you need to remember.

Between six and ten in the morning and between six and ten in the evening is when your body is hypo metabolic, or at its lowest phase of metabolism. Try to spend time in silence around six in the morning and six in the evening. Ideally speaking, it’s best to meditate in the early part of this phase and to exercise in the middle of this phase especially if you’re doing it to lose weight.

Between ten in the morning and two in the afternoon is when metabolic fire is at its highest. This is the time to have your biggest meal, because your body will metabolize the food much better. Between two and six in the afternoon is a good time to be active, to learn new mental skills or to engage in physical activities. Between two and six in the morning is a good time to dream.

Around six in the evening, and preferably before sunset, is a good time to have dinner. It’s best to make dinner a lighter meal, and to have at least a two- to three-hour interval between dinner and sleep. Then try to get to bed by ten or ten-thirty at night, and you’ll have ideal sleep and great dreams.

These are very basic suggestions but once we start to synchronize our rhythms with the cosmic rhythms, the body feels quite different. It feels vital; it doesn’t get fatigued. We feel more energy subjectively. We begin to experience that state of consciousness where everything in our life is flowing with ease. Vibrant health is not just the absence of disease; it’s a joyfulness that should be inside us all the time. It’s a state of positive wellbeing, which is not only physical but emotional, psychological and ultimately even spiritual. Technology won’t make us healthy. What will make us healthy is to be aligned with the forces of the universe, to feel that our body is part of the body of nature, to commune with nature, to commune with our soul by spending time in silence and solitude.

The oceans and rivers of our planet are the lifeblood that circulates in our heart and in our body. The air is the sacred breath of life that gives energy to every cell in our body so that it may live and breathe and participate in the dance of the cosmos. To know that we are a part of this Earth, to know that we are inseparable from the cosmos, is to have the experience of joy, the experience of connectedness to everything. This is the healing experience; it is the experience of being whole. And to be whole is to live in grace.
