Overcoming the Struggle of Duality

by Dean Noblett –

Living in a world of duality has made it challenging and difficult to understand why we have experienced and witnessed such an array of human behavior throughout our history. With constant introspection and the continued judgements of right and wrong, good and bad, just and unjust it has been a constant challenge to find a balanced viewpoint and to truly understand the gift that duality actually presents to us. This subject is super sensitive, yet if we are to continue on our path of ascension it is a crucial concept in need of our assimilation.

Let us use an example of duality that represents many definitions, including the very nature of our own composite structure, not to mention the entire universe. Symbolically, the notion of the “light” and “dark” conveniently expresses the broad spectrum of contrasts we all inevitably have to deal with in every aspect of life. Under the guise of the light resides all the so-called higher attributes of peace, love and hope, to kindness, joy and integrity. Every human being possesses the ability to express any or all of these qualities whenever we choose.

Obviously, in contrast to the light is the dark side representing conflict, fear, despair, judgment, anger and deceit, etc. This is where the ugly side of our reality is founded. And just as we possess the ability to express the light, the dark side is constantly lurking in the background ready to pounce when we least expect it. The source of the pain of our dark side is usually buried deep within our unconscious mind. As it quietly and patiently waits for an opportunity to make itself known, life will always find a way to give it a voice, often in very subtle ways, but in many instances in the most blatant and painful ways imaginable.

The dilemma we are faced with is this: how do we reconcile the duality of the light and dark that is at the core of this reality so we can actually transcend our consciousness beyond the limitations that confront us daily through these two contrasts? A big question for sure, but one to which an answer is essential for us to be able to fully bring in the new world.

Each of us is confronted with our own fears amidst our efforts to live our best possible life. A best life scenario could be one of fulfillment, sense of purpose, excitement, joy, abundance and well being, peace and of course – love. We are all aching to fully experience ourselves in this light and while we are moving towards this reality, the dark side of our nature continues to question our worthiness and does what it can to convince us otherwise. Our fear-based human egos have had its way with us for so long now, the very notion of it losing control goes against what the ego represents and it refuses to lie down and die without a fight.

Just using the word “fight” conjures up a feeling that appears to question the nature and value of why we choose to oppose any given situation. To be in conflict with another immediately indicates that we are in judgement of them and have the need to somehow convince them that they are wrong. In that moment our ego has us just where it wants us. This all too familiar example of fear and conflict that subtly rises from the depths stems from the need to be in control.

The question arising from this is how can we best serve the collective consciousness so we can overcome the struggle of duality and transcend into a new world of total unity and peace? As mentioned earlier this is a sensitive subject and one that does not encompass a winner or loser, a victim or perpetrator, but rather embracing the ideal that there is no right or wrong, good and bad or even any victims. To transcend duality we need to know that everything just “is” and every human being is where they need to be and is experiencing what is necessary for their highest good. Our job is to find the lesson within the experience which then becomes a gift to ourselves.

While the highest good for all concerned is a mantra many of us use in our prayers and meditations, that does not mean what we see and experience is always pretty. In fact the purpose of duality is for us to experience both the light and the dark and then to emerge from the illusion knowing everything is as it should be and always for our highest good. For those still caught in the illusion, this concept is usually not received well, but until we choose to expand our awareness and truly embrace the journey completely, we remain trapped in judgment and blame.

There is nothing in the universe that is separate from the creator. In other words, even the dark side is not separate from the light, for it is only a perception and only has power when we give it sustenance to make it real. As soon as we bring light to any darkness it dissolves like a lantern in a cave. The darkness is still there, it hasn’t gone anywhere, for as soon as the lantern is extinguished it appears just as easily as it dissolved. If one happened to be lost in a cave, the situation does not change by lighting the lantern, however, it allows one to see the situation with a clearer vision to find the way out. In this scenario we are neither the light nor the dark, but the observer who has transcended the duality of the experience.

The intricacies of our experience of this third dimension reality are far too complex to comprehend why it is that some people find themselves in dire and tragic situations. If we take into account soul agreements, soul contracts, balancing karma and our desire to find love, happiness and freedom, then we know there is something unfolding beyond our reach of understanding at this level of the evolutionary ladder.

The Creator allows the gift of free will for humanity to wake up to who we really are through the experience of duality. When we as a collective can also live from this place and look down on the duality in our own lives and shine our light on the dark side, it is in that moment we have transcended into a higher level of consciousness. This act of unconditional love ultimately frees the world from this perceived illusion, but it has to start with our own lives. It is the love of self which is the love of your life. Our ability to ignite the lantern to disperse the darkness with the knowledge that everything is in order no matter where we find ourselves is the path to freedom. It’s up to us to find our way.

Collective consciousness is the greatest power we have as human beings. Each is connected to the other, making up the ocean of humanity. As the waves rise and return to the ocean, we realize that we have never been separate from each other. Rather, the duality of the land and the sea, the expanse of the sky and depths of the ocean are but a different experience of the one creation. When we see through the eyes of the creator a knowing arises that nothing is neither good nor bad, but just is.

If we do our best to rise above duality and lovingly embrace the darkness it will lose its stronghold us. Ultimately, we have the power through cause and effect in the light of the collective consciousness to strengthen the foundation of the new world now being created in the minds of humanity.

Processing and Releasing

Obscured by the Clouds:

The past few months have been an intense time of integration and finishing up old stuff. So many new things are coming in as the old is departing. I see this time we are in as a warm, sunny day. A day when we are just relaxing outside in the fresh air. Suddenly a big cloud comes along and shields the sun from our view. It’s not so bad since it brings a gentle breeze. No sign of a big storm is imminent, were still enjoying what we have, however, we long for the warmth of the sunshine. This is my analogy of the last few months. The three eclipses worked on us on many different levels. We did some deep soul searching and things were sure stirred up. Right now things have settled down a bit, but things are not necessarily as we wish them to be. We can almost taste, smell, and feel the new energy coming in, and actually experience glimpses of it. It’s not time quite yet. The clouds have obscured the sun.

We are in residing in the void. A place of neither positive nor negative energy. To label it as one or the other would be placing a judgment on the process. This is a time of letting things be. We are releasing so much of the past. As things go, we need time to integrate. A day without the sun beating down on us is not such bad thing. A cloudy day can be peaceful. Yes, we long for some major changes, yet we must conserve our energy and be in the divine flow.

I have wanted to write for months now and couldn’t figure out why I was not drawn to do so. I have had so much I wanted to share and reflect on. What is occurring is we are communicating primarily through energy at this point. For the past few years speaking has become a cumbersome task for me. I become a bumbling idiot trying to spit out what I’m trying to say. My friends/family fill in the blanks for me. I relied on my writing skills as my main form of expression. Well, these past few months I couldn’t even express through the written word. I have found that I need to spend a decent amount of time in a just a quiet, gentle way. Too much activity, including talking/listening (aka communicating) is intrusive to this process.

I had to learn how to just be. This process is about allowing things to just be what they may be. Part of the process is acceptance. Acceptance of the current circumstances and conditions. Releasing of judgment that something is either good or bad, positive or negative. We learn that it is neither and both. It just is.

I have found that as I integrate this energy I need much less stimulation than I needed in the past. Television and movie watching is limited to an hour or two. I find that the electromagnetic frequencies and all the noise and activity are too disturbing to my delicate system. Just listening to some peaceful music and meditating are very conducive to rebooting. I spend plenty of time in nature, at the beach or taking evening walks, really clears my energy field, especially since we are processing and releasing at such a rapid rate.

So our bright future is obscured by the clouds at this time. I love a sunny day as much as the next person, but I have to admit, a cloudy day can have its benefits. We don’t have the intensity of the sun, as it is hidden behind the clouds. Thus, we do not have full illumination and clarity of exactly what’s taking place; we don’t know what the future holds. It’s not such a bad thing. Everything is happening behind the scenes. Things are not quite in form yet. We don’t need to know. We do need to trust, allow, release and integrate.

All we can do, is do what we can. Let the rest go. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Be in the flow of who and what comes into your life. What’s there gets your full attention. Be mindful of what the priority is and focus on that. Keep checking in to make sure you are taking good care of yourself. Make adjustments along the way. This energy is teaching us how to allow. It will be one of the most useful tools we’ll ever master. May your cloudy days be as fulfilling as your sunny ones. And so it is.

PrayerDear God, I come into this precious moment mindful of what is going on around and within me. Show me how to be gentle with myself. I accept the present moment. Guide me in knowing what I am capable of changing and the things that I need to let be as they are. I quiet my thoughts so that I can feel which is which. I trust that as I come into the divine flow, that things will unfold in a miraculous way. I release what no longer serves me and make space for the unlimited possibilities. And so it is. Amen

The Truth of Your Knowing

by Jennifer Hoffman –

When you limit your knowing to what you can see before you, your vision is limited to a small part of a vast reality that is available to you. Every limitation you experience is a small part of a much larger potential for your life. Everything you believe as truth, if based in the material world, is the reflection of your own knowing and not your spiritual truth. The truth of what you know is limited when you believe what your eyes see and your mind believes. It is expanded when you expand your vision and thinking to include the possibility that there are multiple paths available to you, in a variety of dimensions and each one holds learning, growth, healing and transformation, depending on what you allow yourself to know.

Do you see the reality you live in as the truth? It is actually an illusion, created by the beliefs and thoughts that you allow yourself to have. And without a desire and choice for transformation, it is limited to those beliefs and thoughts. When you accept transformation you expand your ability to know and to see and this allows you to create a new illusion that reflects your new understanding. Your material life is a journey through stages of illusion as you reclaim your soul’s light that has been diminished over countless years of pain and sorrow.

If you could see your soul’s journey you would see countless paths, all leading towards the Light, each path containing a different aspect of your illusion. These paths all vibrate at a different energy and each one is accessible to you. But, the ones you can access are those that are within the realm of your knowing-do you know and believe in what you can see and what corresponds to your material truth, or do you know the unknowable, have faith in the unseen and believe with your spiritual truth?

You can choose to experience a life of boundless joy or suffering, of unfolding abundance in all good things or of lack, of peace and love or fear. Every aspect of your life is created from the truth of your knowing, of the extent to which you believe in your limitations and the illusions you create from them. There is no limit to the illusions you can create for your soul journey and when you know that this is true you have the ability to choose the unknowable, to see beyond the material and to remember that you are powerful in every way. And that you are never alone on your journey, you are supported and guided on every step of the way and ‘home’ is the next step on your path.

The End of Judgment

Heaven on earth is ours to create at this time, as we have been processing energy, clearing old paradigms and are now ready to accept new ways of being. One of our rewards is the end of polarity, the energy of either/or or better/worse. Polarity is experienced on the earth plane as judgment and is the way we separate ourselves from each other by viewing everyone through the lens of our differences. But without polarity there is no judgment, as there is no separation. Can we learn to live without judgment? We can if we are willing to understand how much judgment is a part of our daily life, thoughts and actions and transform our thinking.

How do we judge others?
By the color of their skin, their gender, their hair or eye color, where they went to college, the kind of job they have, whether or not they have been in prison, are they divorced, single or married, the list is long. You may say this is how we describe people yet each of those descriptions carries a judgment and that is where we tread into the territory of polarity. This is where we separate ourselves from others and categorize them according to who we think they are based on our judgments of them.

Our judgments are automatic, based on years of learned thinking and opinions. And judgments can lead to many things, such as discrimination, bias, hate crimes and exclusion. In today’s world it is unthinkable that a white person would not associate with a person of another race or culture and yet there was a time when that was socially acceptable. When we release judgment we go into its higher energies of acceptance, tolerance and connection. Within these higher energies we cannot have polarity because the higher energies remind us that we are connected, we are One and we are the same.

The end of judgment begins with how we judge ourselves, for as with all spiritual practices, we must start with us, with acceptance and tolerance for who we are and remember that we too are connected to our Source. In this place of connection we are reminded that our own path is limitless and abundant with possibility. Whatever we want can be ours when we refrain from judging who we are and what we have and focus on our dreams and vision for our own life. This week, consider your judgments of others and how they reflect your judgments of yourself. Do you feel less than, unworthy or undeserving? Release polarity from your own life so you can enjoy the blessings of a benevolent Universe and enjoy the unparalleled peace and joy that comes from remembering your connection.

End of Polarity

.:The Dimension of Unconditional Love:.

by Jennifer Hoffman –

This has been a year of shifting perceptions, new and different definitions of reality, learning acceptance and transcending our focus on isolation in the material world to one that integrates the spiritual with the material. It has been hard work and we have accomplished much. With the movement into different vibrations and levels of being and access to new dimensions come profound changes in our reality and in ourselves. These new dimensions contain a much different energy than we are used to and create unlimited choices and opportunities. On a large scale it is the end of polarity and the beginning of connection. While we look forward to this change, the end of polarity has profound implications for how we think, speak, act and live.

The end of polarity is an end of separation and we are able to reconnect to Source on levels we have never experienced before. It is an end of living through hope and taking responsibility for our creation and its transformation. It is an end of judgment, criticism and comparison and being aware of the importance of each individual path as part of the collective journey. It is an end of powerlessness and the opportunity to be powerful. All of these things are possible if we choose them by allowing polarity to end and to remember that we are all One. What a wonderful opportunity for all of humanity to recognize the divinity in all.

The end of polarity releases us from the victim paradigm that we have lived under for eons of humanity’s experience on earth. Where we once felt we did not have choices, others ‘made’ us do things, we were ‘forced’ into ways of being or we lacked control, we now have the opportunity to reverse that thinking and enforce our spiritual birthright of joy, peace and unconditional love in our own life. As we know, when we transform our way of being we disconnect to any energies that are not on that level and reconnect to others. We have a choice to do this and to respect each person’s choice for their path. With the end of polarity we recognize the power in all and honor others’ choices. We understand that others cannot force us to do anything-and we cannot force others to do anything as well.

Polarity is the central focus of the world we live in. We describe others as richer or poorer than we are, better or worse off, with more or fewer attributes and gifts. We applaud the person who runs the fastest race and pity the loser. We celebrate the rich and famous and wish to be like them. Without polarity none of these things is important. We recognize the inherent divinity in all and know that each person contributes their part to the whole and each part is important. No person’s contribution is greater or less than that of any other. More importantly, without polarity we become as one and are all the same. Are we ready to relinquish our need for heroes and role models, which exist within polarity?

The end of polarity is also the end of karma, karmic cycles and soul contracts and the beginning of manifesting through creation. We have been experiencing the end of soul contracts and karma as we end relationships and energies that have run their course for us. Polarity defines these emotional interchanges as the way in which we seek revenge or atonement for the harm others do to us. Without polarity there is no reason for karma because there is no energy to keep the karma in motion.

The end of polarity is the beginning of unconditional love, where we are without judgment of ourselves and of others. But unconditional love begins in our own life and we must decide whether we are going to continue our love/hate relationship with ourselves, which is where we do the most damage. How can we accept the divinity and perfection of all if we do not believe that of ourselves? It is the end of the darkest energies that we have experienced in our history, war, genocide, discrimination and persecution of others because of race, gender, culture and national origin. Without polarity we recognize that we are the ‘other’ and they are us. Can we be the light we wish to see in the world and lead by our example and spiritual practice? We must if we are to participate in our mass exodus from polarity into connection.

Our ability to accept the end of polarity will determine the next step on our individual and collective path. As we become more connected our willingness to live within the dimension of unconditional love, where we practice our spiritual knowledge that allows us to step into the higher vibration of spiritual mastery and miraculous living is the new reality. It is a profound transformation that invites us to acknowledge our own divinity and learn to appreciate ourselves within our own magnificence. It is a new spiritual practice for all of us, one that requires us to ‘walk our talk.’ Our willingness to create the end of polarity, because we have created the space for this energy, is what will allow it to manifest and grow into the new consciousness, a new way of being for humanity. It is our graduation into new dimensions of being and proof that we remember and are now ready to be ‘home’ on earth.
