How to Come Home to Your Self

by Jafree Ozwald –

“Drop the idea of becoming someone, because you are already a masterpiece. You cannot be improved. You have only to come to it, to know it, to realize it. God has created you; you cannot be improved.” –Osho
Deep inside each of us is a place we can call our true “home”. It’s a resting ground, where the world has no power to sway you in any direction. You are rooted and relaxed in a sweet sacred connection with the Divine. When you deeply relax into your body, letting go of all the cares and worries of this world, you discover this awesome experience of coming home to your Self. You are no longer split, unable to make decisions, living in fear, or worried about anything anymore. There is a feeling and understanding that you are connecting with the God Source, each and every moment of your day.
When you let go of all your efforting to change yourself and surrender deeply to what you might call the “light inside your heart”, you soon discover a feeling of Oneness with everything. You stop fighting reality and begin merging with it. All your inner conflicts become resolved, which means there is no outer conflict anymore. It’s good to know that the inner turmoil inside you is just the ego believing you are not 100% perfect just the way you are. It only sees what is wrong, what needs to be improved, and is relentless about its path of being right. It thinks that everything needs to change in order so that you can be happy.

The greater truth is that happiness is available no matter what your outer world looks like. It is a choice to come home to yourself. There is a Divine Intelligence behind everything and when you relax and come home to it, a state of perpetual joy finds you. This intelligence knows exactly what challenges you need in this lifetime so that you go beyond the perpetually unhappy ego.

The God Source is doing everything to push you to dive deeper within yourself so that you transcend this ego and discover the infinite aspect of your being. Whatever physical, emotional, or mental problems that you’re facing, they are all springboards to enlightenment. Each one contains the right amount of fuel to propel you into the core of your being, where you discover the most sacred source of existence.

This warm cozy nest I call your “inner home” is found inside your heart. This sacred place can only be found through total surrender to existence. When the ego lets go, there is no room for suffering and the divine is instantly experienced. As long as you are following your thoughts, believing them to be real, you cannot find Reality. While the mind/ego is running the show, the door to the divine remains closed. There is always a crack open, and you can find it when you put 100% of your energy into trust. When you know the Universe never makes mistakes, and that everything is exactly as it should be, your body relaxes and this sacred home within you is found. I believe there is an old saying that says, “home is where the heart is”. I think we could rephrase it by saying, “the heart is where the home is”.

Just for this week, I invite you to do a little experiment. Whenever you’re not busy, whether you’re waiting in line at the store, or perhaps in stuck in traffic, let your attention rest on your heart center. Say to yourself, “This heart is my home” and relax into it.

Don’t try to relax, just let go of everything in your head and let yourself be taken in by the heart. It is welcoming you with open arms, ready to receive all of you. Even those parts you don’t approve of about yourself, these are also welcome. Simply spend as much time as you can each day relaxing deeper and deeper into your heart. Don’t make it a project or a big “have to” out of it, just do it whenever you can remember to. The secret here is being open to a new experience of yourself, that is gentle, loving and filled with peace in the most intimate ways.

When the heart is fully relaxed, the lights turn on in this divine home within your being. There is no greater refuge to be found. If you wanted to find heaven on Earth, this would be it. By living from this space, there is nothing you cannot accomplish or manifest. There is no task too big for you to handle. Yet, the feeling of peace within you is soooo amazing that most of your ego’s yearnings simply fade away. You discover a source of unfathomable bliss within you that cannot be taken away by any situation or circumstances. You end up falling in love with your Self, this world and everybody in it. You feel like you are at home wherever you are.

Discover Your Real Life Purpose

by Jafree Ozwald –

If you’d like to experience a real pizzazz and joy for life, start your day with meditating on your life purpose. There is something magical, super powerful and healing that happens when you are in touch with why you are here, and what you’re here to do. All your so called “problems” no longer have a grip on you. You are sooo excited, focused and exuberantly on fire about being ALIVE that you cannot even stoop down to feel anything of a lower vibration. Perhaps the greatest effect of all is that it becomes extremely contagious and everyone around you begins to live with this unstoppable joy inside.

Discovering your REAL life purpose is possible by doing this exercise down below. The first step is to understand that you may be operating under a false pretense that you are living your life purpose fully now. If you are not jumping out of bed with total elation and orgasmic joy for being alive, then you are probably fooling yourself that you’re living on purpose. As children you were conditioned by your parents, friends, and siblings who told you what you SHOULD do with your life. Following their ideas about what will make you happy, successful, or a “good little kid” became your new habits for receiving acceptance, love and approval. This soon became what I’ll call your Imprinted Life Purpose, that only can lead to a life that’s robot-like, unconscious and produces no real fulfillment.

The more awareness you can bring to seeing what your Imprinted Purpose is, the less power it has in shaping the rest of your life. Finding your life purpose actually comes from revealing your “Imprinted Purpose”. Did you ever see the movie, “The Wizard of Oz”? When they were in the Emerald City, the wizard had a tremendous influence over Dorothy and her friends until they found out that a fear-based little man was behind the curtain pulling levers on a machine creating a lot of smoke and special effects. Once you begin to ‘pull away the curtain’ on your Imprinted Purpose, your true life purpose will begin to reveal itself and you can tap your red sparkling shoes 3 times to find your way home.

A few tips to help you first see your “Imprinted Life Purpose”…

* It is a reason for living, doing, thinking and being that is all based in fear, in a need to survive. It’s what makes us think we should do to be able to “make it” in the world.

* It always leaves you with a sense of “Is that all there is?” When your life is shaped by your imprinted Purpose, we’re constantly left unsatisfied and unfulfilled with everything we do.

* It is a deep part of you that is very transparent, like water is to a fish. The fish isn’t aware it lives in the ocean, yet the waves have tremendous influence on the fish’s direction in life.

* It’s what runs the show when you’re on automatic.

STEPS TO DISCOVER YOUR LIFE PURPOSE

1. Watch the Movie of Your Life. Starting with your earliest memories, take several hours (or as much time as you can afford) to sit down, relax with a bucket of popcorn and watch the whole movie of your life from beginning to now. It’s a really great show so you’ll want to take some notes! Imagine yourself as a movie reviewer sitting in the seats of your fantasy movie theater watching The Life and Times of [name]. Your job at the end of the movie will be to write a review of it. You’ll want to take at least 30 minutes to write this review. Below is a format to help you write this review, just be sure to include lots of fun juicy details!

2. The first thing to write is the Movie Script. On a blank sheet of paper, draw a straight line in the middle of the page from the top to the bottom. This line represents your Life Line. Write the high points on the right side of the line and the low points on the left side. Write out the catalytic events, the pivotal turning points, from your earliest memories, large and small, include everything that has truly shaped your life.

3. On the top of the page write out your Movie’s Theme. To do this, scan through your list of events along the Life Line and look for what could possibly be this Movies’ Theme. Every movie has a theme — boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back, etc. What’s the MAJOR theme of your movie? Write out 2-3 sentences that sum up the major theme of your life.

4. Look to see how your Life Events created your Imprinted Purpose. Review the criteria of an imprinted Purpose and begin linking it to feelings and memories you identified with in the movie of your Life. Identify the role you were playing in this movie and connect it with your imprinted Purpose. Be real and be specific! In 2-3 sentences write down what you think your Imprinted Purpose is. Use words you heard from people who impacted you the most in your childhood experiences (when your Imprinted Purpose was formed) and write down what you believe your Imprinted Life Purpose has been. Notice if there’s anything missing or anything extra needed and if it fits the qualities of an Imprinted Purpose.

5. It’s time to be creative and discover your real Life Purpose! Take a deep long look at your Imprinted Purpose and see if you can first imagine what would be the opposite feeling, vibration or mission of this experience. Ask yourself what makes you feel free, alive, excited and on fire! What actions, behavior, gifts or service to the world will make you jump out of bed every morning with JOY even if you’re never paid for it? Imagine a way of being, thinking and doing things in the world what that makes your heart sing your greatest song.

View all the inspirational aspects that were responsible in you for all the high points you listed on the right side of the page. What was really driving you to create those amazing experiences? What is the contribution you were wanting to make to the world all along? Write down a few trial statements about what kind of life would truly inspire you to be living that make you feel warm and tingly inside. Make a list of possible ideas and read them OUT LOUD. Then create one general statement to the world for what you FEEL your life purpose truly is! Don’t get stuck on it, it may grow and change. You will most likely refine it later if needed. Just have fun and be creative! You cannot mess up, just do whatever makes you feel super happy and alive!

Relationship Triggers

by Margot Zaher –

Your Relationship Triggers are your Greatest Teachers:

The greatest opportunity you have in partnership is the ability to use all interactions with your partner as a vehicle for learning about your ego self and shifting more deeply into relating from your soul self. Each time your partner does something that triggers one of your hot buttons, the Universe gives you the opportunity to recognize this trigger and transform your reaction to it. If you lived in complete isolation, hidden away in a Tibetan cave, you would have little chance to recognize your triggers. Since awareness is the key to transformation, you can be deeply grateful for your partner’s desire to help you become more enlightened by triggering all of those buried hot buttons.

“The purpose of relationship is not to
have another who might complete you,
but to have another with whom
you might share your completeness.
–Neale Donald Walsch

Our mind is used to following certain train tracks. It has a normal or typical response to most situations. How do you normally view your partner when he or she triggers you? Do you see your partner as annoying, immature, helpful, or lazy? We all have habitual ways of seeing ourselves, our partners, and our world. What is the habit that you have fallen into? How does it support or not support the kind of relationship that you deeply desire? You can choose to see your partner as a Divine teacher instead of just an annoying person. In the instance where you are triggered, I would invite you to use the following four-step process to help you see the divine in your partner and move more deeply into soul-based relating.

“Everything that irritates us about others
can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.”
–Carl Jung

1. Energetically step back three paces. When you feel the trigger button being pushed, imagine that you are literally stepping backwards three paces. By moving backwards, you become the observer. Just imagine you’re watching this scene like you were viewing a great movie. Actually see yourself in the scene and become really curious about what you’re feeling or experiencing. This visualization gives you some energetic space from the situation, allowing you to maintain a calm centered feeling instead of getting lost in an emotional whirlwind.

“The people we are in relationship
with
are always a mirror, reflecting
our own beliefs
and simultaneously
we are mirrors,
reflecting their beliefs.”
–Shakti Gawain

2. Find the teaching in the situation. When you feel centered, ask yourself, “What is the teaching that my partner is trying to teach me?” Open up your mind and get really curious about what you are meant to learn in this situation. There’s always a lesson to be learned from any perceived “negative” interaction with your partner. Let’s pretend your partner got mad at you for not doing the dishes. Her anger triggers you, and makes you want to defend yourself. You notice that her anger makes you feel angry because you feel you’ve been unjustly accused of neglecting something. In this instance when you feel the anger arise, ask yourself this question, “What is my partner teaching me about myself right now?”

In this situation you could discover your partner’s anger is teaching you that you feel uncomfortable around anger, and feel the need to defend yourself. Why do you feel that you must defend yourself? Get really curious about this response. There is a goldmine of information that will arise when you get curious about your reactions. In this scenario, you could discover you have an issue with following through on your commitments and that’s why you’re defending yourself.

“What angers us in another person
is more
often than not an unhealed aspect
of ourselves.
If we had already resolved
that particular issue, we
would not be
irritated by its reflection back to us.”
–Simon Peter Fuller

3. Embrace the teaching. Once you uncover the teaching, you then have an amazing opportunity to embrace this teaching and transform your life. In the scenario where you didn’t do the dishes and learned you had a commitment issue, you could fully embrace this learning by diving deeper into your challenge with commitment. The best way to do this is to ask yourself lots of questions such as, “Why don’t I follow through?”, “How is this lack of follow through hurting me, and my relationship?”, and “What new way of being do I want to embrace?”

“As human beings our greatness
lies not so much in being able to
remake the world as in being
able to remake ourselves.”
–Mahatma Gandhi

4. Thank your partner. Each time your partner annoys you or bothers you in some way, you can choose a new response of gratitude. Just say to yourself, “Thank you almighty teacher for pointing out my hot buttons.” That’s right. Truly acknowledge and be thankful for your partner and the amazing role that they’re playing. For without this triggering, you would forever be lost in the dark and have little idea of where your ego is wreaking havoc and sucking you into suffering.

Components of Manifesting

by Jafree Ozwald and Margo Zaher –

Manifesting happens because we are channels for the inexhaustible levels of pure energy found in the present moment of now. With a consistent, relaxed yet focused awareness on what you want (instead of what you don’t want), you will naturally and continuously manifest amazing things. The more present you are, the more your body opens, and the richer your experience of life becomes!

“Our life is what our thoughts make it.
–Marcus Aurelius

The following 3 components make manifesting techniques function. Choose to experiment with one or all, what matters most is that you dive in and explore for many days and weeks on end.

*1. Feeling very connected to the Universe in this present moment. There’s not much chit-chat going on up in the head.

*2. A strong desire and directed intention for what you want to manifest into the Universe.

*3. A belief that says THIS is a magical bodymind and Universe around me in which I can create ANYTHING I consistently dream of.

The moment you stop being 100% engaged in what your NOW experience is by getting up in your head about a past or future event, life loses its juicy flavor, direction and energy because you are coming from a less conscious space. With an open and centered energy, your Manifesting Vibration flows and grows exponentially! Your thoughts manifest from your core self and create your life!

“You cannot step into the same river twice.”
–Heraclitus

You can’t step into the same moment even ONCE! Some say the moment goes by so quickly, that even proposing we can step into the same river ONCE can be disputable. The moment moves and flows much faster than the mind. The mind can never ever catch the present moment. When it actually does catch up, the Mind is no longer there. You reach a state of no-mind or Nirvana!

Once you continuously stay in the present moment (for hours or days), you will have a shift in consciousness and your life will never be the same. A dynamic transformation will unfold through you. Miraculous synchronistic events will occur as if they were your “everyday” events. A sense of inner peace will prevail. There will only be time for you to shine, so there can be more truth, vision, purpose and meaning to your life. Everything you want is contained within this moment. Why would you look any place else? There is more manifesting energy in the now-here to use, than you ever could use. The present moment is more amazing than ANYTHING and is the only place manifesting power exists.

Transcending the Ego’s Game

by Margot Zaher and Jafree Ozwald –

Interacting With the World:

What kind of game is your ego playing? Hide and Seek? Chess? Monopoly? Everybody’s ego has a certain way of relating to the world in order to get its needs met. When you were young, your ego/mind adopted one primary way of interacting with the world in order to cope with deep feelings of being disconnected from Source. Each of us chose to embrace some sort of ego game because we craved, deep in our souls, to be reunited with the intense feelings of love that come from living in Source. We mistakenly believed that if we joined one of the ego games that everybody around us was playing, we would naturally feel these great feelings. As we grew older and bought more and more into the illusion of being disconnected from Source, we unconsciously began projecting this separate, helpless, powerless ego-self onto our relationships and our lives.

Whenever your ego feels somehow threatened or uncomfortable, it uses its coping strategies to manipulate the world and get whatever it desires. Your ego adopts certain attitudes, beliefs, judgments and ways of appearing to others to get its needs met. It’s this combination of masks and cunningness that make up your ego game. For instance, one person may have a game of being nice to everybody they meet, to get everyone to like them. Another person may be rude, authoritative, mean and nasty with people to keep everyone at a distance and feel powerful. Games like these are what the ego plays in order to get love, approval, appreciation and at a deeper level to discover a profound connection to the divine essence of who they truly are.

While others can almost always see our games easily (especially those who are in an intimate relationship with us), we are often blind to the ego game we are playing inside. We may even fight someone who tries to show us the truth of the game we are engaged in. The ego would rather be right about its opinion, than happy or peaceful. It keeps you mesmerized by the drama of the situation, so that you don’t have to see the divine brilliance of your authentic Self. If the ego actually saw how totally amazing, wildly exotic, powerful and truly blessed you actually are, it would have to die. The fastest way out of any suffering that you are encountering is learning how to see the game your ego is repetitively playing.

Once you pierce the veil of your ego’s strategy, and surrender to a deeper connection with Source, you can begin to experience true freedom on all levels of your life and have authentic heart-based loving relationships. Discovering and transcending your ego’s game is one of the most challenging, yet beautiful gifts you can give yourself.

Identifying Your Illusionary Ego

To help you identify your illusionary ego, here are a few common ego game identities that people play with. Each of these ego identities holds a belief about itself and copes with the world by embodying this way of being.

*Mr. Defensive: “I want nobody to like me. If I am unlovable, I can never be hurt again. “

*Mr. Enlightened: “I am above it all and don’t have any problems or places where I need to grow in my life. Everybody else has problems. “

*Mr. Nice Guy: “I want everybody to like me. I am a really a great and loving person. “

*Miss. Perfect: “Everything must be perfect in my world. If things are not in order something terrible will happen. “

*Miss. Lone Ranger: “I don’t need anybody to help me. I am so strong and independent. “

*Miss SuperGirl: “I must be successful at all costs. If I am not successful, I am nothing. “

One of the most important things that you can do is figure out the ego game that is running your life. The first clue to look at how you tend to act, behave and respond to others generally, specifically when you are feeling uncomfortable. Most people revert back to one way of operating and repeat it over and over their entire life. This game runs every aspect of their lives from their personal life to their financial life. For instance, if your ego plays the Superman or SuperGirl game, your whole life may be about accomplishment to such an extent that you only think of things as how will this help you be more successful. You may ignore your relationships in favor of professional success, or even use relationships to help you create more success. The point is that you build your life around whatever game your ego wants to play and this may stop you from having the kind of life you truly love.

The biggest game of all however is believing that your ego is real. It’s about as real as a mirage in the desert. When we hold onto this illusion that the ego exists, we remain trapped in the cyclical wheel of suffering forever. The truth is that the game you are playing will eventually blow up like a balloon and explode! This way may be painful, yet you will one day see how the ego never truly satisfies. Only finding your true authentic self will satisfy you, and truly abolish the illusionary ego from its grip on you forever.

It is difficult to manifest what you truly desire when your ego is in the way. It causes an energetic block to the feelings and thoughts that allow your dreams to manifest. Uncovering your ego game will make you into a manifesting magician! It will set you soooo free so that you stay focused in the direction of your dreams and naturally attract whatever you desire. Remember that behind this ego masquerade is what you have been searching for, the infinite loving essence that loves every part of who you are. So let’s strip off that ego mask today, and discover the truth of who you really are. You deserve to live from the most enlightened place of all, where you know yourself as the Divine Authentic Self.
