The Power of Visualizations

by Evette Gardner –
Are You Dressed Appropriately to Meet Your Dream Life?

I’m what psychologists would classify as an introvert. I live in my head talking to myself, contemplating curiosities, asking questions, going over my things gone wrong trying to understand how I could have made them right, imagining better and more fulfilling possibilities for my life experience (that one comes up a lot)… For as far back as I can remember I’ve had the effortless ability to involve myself so deeply in an imagined experience that I can essentially tune out the outside world.
I have always been a very skilled daydreamer. So if all it took to turn my dreams into my reality was the steadfast visualization of the experience, I would have married Bo from The Dukes of Hazzard, been best friends with Jo from The Facts of Life and would have been able to fly after taking three steps like Ralf from The Greatest American Hero all at the tender age of six. And who knows what other extraordinary things I could have accomplished after that had I actually been successful at turning those visions into actual physical experiences at such a young age.

Imagination is the fount from which possibilities are drawn from.
Visualization is very influential in shaping what finally emerges from this pool. The power of visualization to transform dreams into reality, however, is about more than an adept ability to immerse yourself in the visualized experience of a desire.
Understanding what this something more is, is knowledge each of us should have because visualization is one of the many tools at your disposal which is particularly suited to calibrate the tone of the energy that envelopes you.
We are all wearers of energy, so to speak.
And it is this energy that you wear which determines what you attract into your life experience. Therefore something we all need to ask ourselves is am I dressed appropriately to meet my dream life? Unfortunately the answer for many of us is all too often no.
So why was it that I never married Bo Duke anyway? What got in the way (besides the obvious)? Well to put it quite simply, reason prevailed over imagination. This is because away from my fantasies I knew Bo Duke wasn’t a real person, I knew he was just a character on TV.
I also knew that though, on the inside, I felt myself to be just as intelligent, mature and sophisticated as any adult, on the outside I was still six years old. And six year old girls didn’t go around marrying grown men. So while it was certainly fun to sometimes pretend to be all grown up and raising sand as Mrs. Bo Duke of Hazzard County, I understood that my dream wasn’t actually possible. And there it is. That’s what got me. I was a victim of my own doubt.
My lack of faith is what got in the way of my dream’s fulfillment.
And no I’m not succumbing to delusions when I say this because even though I know now, just as I knew then, that it was not literally possible for me to live in a fake town and marry a fictional character who was way outside the bounds of being age appropriate for me, but had I had faith (not in the specific storyline of my dream but) in the feelings that imagined experience inspired in me I could have attracted things into my physical reality (even at six years old) that would have reflected and reinforced the emotional experience of that fantastic possibility.
I could have lived the feeling of that fantasy even though it was not possible for me to live the situation. The lesson to be learned, don’t be so literal about your dreams.
Don’t get drawn into the belief that if it’s not possible for your physical reality to exactly mirror the circumstances of your dreamy musings that your dreams can’t come true. That feeling of adventure; that feeling of imagining myself to be loved by someone who I perceived as kind, decent, fun and really really cute, which to my thinking could only mean that not only was I so special as to be worthy of such a love but that I must also possess those qualities too for having attracted it.
That feeling of high-spirited confidence could have been mine had I just had absolute faith in the feeling of my experience; had I worn the energy of that mindset away from my imaginings and had not simply dismissed it the instant my inner dalliances were over.
You wear the energy that your life experience reflects, so you need to be conscious of what you choose to put on.
For example, you may dream of being a successful architect. How do you then turn this dream into a “waking” life experience?
The answer is by wearing the energy of that reality; by running a narrative in your mind which is reflective of your imagined scenario.
Meaning if you were a successful architect what kind of dialogue would be running through your mind right now? Picture that scenario then run that script. Think those thoughts. Evoke and wear that energy. And keep wearing it until it starts to feel not only plausible but completely natural to you because the more your wear the thoughts of your desire, the more convinced you will be that it actually suits you.
Then as you become more comfortable with this energetic experience in your imagination you will be better able to assess what your idea of being a successful architect entails emotionally. You will be better able to assess if this feeling is something that you would like to keep for a while.
If the answer is yes, realize and acknowledge that you are absolutely deserving of this experience. And even above and beyond that, you have the ability to treat yourself to its full expression in your physical reality because there’s nothing compelling you to take its energy off.
You can keep it. Wear it as long as you like. And your wearing this energy is what creates its manifestation in your waking life experience.
The experiences you attract in life are a reflection of the tone of the energy you choose to radiate from your being.
This choice is made with the type of thoughts you entertain and the degree of faith you assign to each of these considerations. That is to say that it is your thoughts, in combination with your beliefs, which work to calibrate the tone of the energy you wear. And it is the energy you wear that attracts to you the situations you experience in life.
So what are you wearing?
Are you dressed appropriately to meet your dream life? Are you thinking thoughts which are consistent with the type of experiences you would like to attract in your life? Are you wearing the energy of your aspirations?
If the answer is no, know that you have the power to change that.
You have the power to imagine a different and more pleasing life experience for yourself and in that, draw to you that which you would otherwise find yourself chasing after.
Imagined reality is just as real as waking reality. All of what happens to you, whether in imagination or in waking life, is real to you because all of it is influential. You first design in mind what you later put into practice in life.
Yet most of us tend to approach our waking experiences in the mindset of this is real and our imagined experiences in the mindset of this isn’t real. But this is wrong. Even if reality were just about what you can see or what you could touch, these standards would not exclude the realm of imagination from reality because you do indeed engage all of your senses even in imagination. You merely engage them in a different, often more subtle, way.
Waking life, dream life, daydreaming life, it’s all a part of your experience.
Each landscape merely offers a different type of experience. Yet and still each has the potential to be just as profound as any of the others. It all depends on you and your willingness to treat whatever is before you as if it’s real.
The deeper your faith is in your experience, the more profound your experience will be.
There is little more you could do that would be more powerful than to wholly acknowledge and accept that all experience, whether waking or dreaming, is but an inner construct, your mental projection.
Everything happens in mind and nowhere else. So hush the skeptic within you that likes to proclaim that imagined experiences are less real, less valid than waking experiences.
Embrace the understanding that even if you can’t touch your aspirations out there, that you can touch them here (in your imagination). This understanding gives you the power to always think of your dreams as happening in the present moment. So if what you want is not before you out there, you have the power to put it before you in here.
All you have is Now.
The past is but a fleeting memory, the future merely a wealth of potentials and possibilities. The only thing of any real substance is Now. Now is where you create your experience. Now is where you live your experience. The only power you have is Now, so seize it.
Be open to and accepting of all the levels of your experience.
Value the realm of your imagination as the creative force behind all that happens to you in life. And make it your mission, therefore, to learn to be a good steward of your mental landscape. In order to do this you need to understand the tools available to you which design your inner scene and set the tone of the energy that emanates from you; both how these tools work and how to wield them effectively.
Visualization is just one of these tools.
The purpose of visualization is not the mental rehearsal of the events you would like to transpire in your life. Understand that all events are merely a means to an end. The purpose of visualization is to get you thinking with a mindset that is reflective of the emotional experience you want to realize in life.

Having achieved this, the rest is promised to take care of itself.
But only if you place your faith in the feelings inspired by your visualizations, as opposed to the incidents you imagined to help inspire those feelings. Let that part of your fantasy go; the part that says, this, this and this must happen in order for me to realize this feeling.
Keep your attention trained on the result you want to achieve, not the actions you think will lead to that achievement. Live in the space of the big picture. Give life the freedom to chart its own course on route to the destinations you have set for it.
Going back to our example, in dreaming of being a successful architect what might you be hoping to gain emotionally in realizing this dream? A sense of fulfillment perhaps. Maybe freedom from any hint of financial concern. The challenge and thrill of designing a space to meet a purpose.
Whatever the emotional payoff, know that whatever imagined scenario you come up with in order to evoke these feelings is good. But don’t get attached to these imagined events.
Keep your attention on the energy of your imagined experience and trust that whatever does play out in your waking life is in the interest of creating a physical expression of this same energetic feeling.
Like attracts like. And as long as you have faith in the energy, the emotions, produced in your imagined experience, you command the power to replicate it in your waking experience.
It may be that thinking of yourself as a successful architect is what evokes the feeling of fulfillment, freedom, challenge and thrill you crave in imagination, but life may have something else completely different in store for you which will inspire these same feelings.
Leave yourself open for surprises. Have faith in the energy you have created.
Trust the tide this energy has you riding on, it will always get you to where you want to be but only if you believe. There may be other ways of living the experience you desire for yourself than what you have imagined. Be allowing of those other possibilities.
Know that as long as you’re wearing the energy of your aspirations, you will draw to yourself nothing less (actually it’s very often more) than the fantastic possibility of what you have dreamed.
So let’s boil all this down to a few simple points.

Now is all you have so think now; be now all that you aspire to be. And it’s okay if you have to pretend because imagined experiences are just as real as waking experiences. Both have the power to impact you.

Envision the most satisfying experience you can imagine for your life right now, and then wear the energy of that experience by thinking the kind of thoughts you would think if it were fulfilled in this moment, and by thinking with a mindset that is grateful for the good fortune of your dream come true.

There’s something about the spirit of gratitude that seems to accelerate the blessings we receive in life. So in adding gratitude to the fabric of the energy you wear you will increase your energy’s attractive power and thus draw to you the things of your desire that much sooner.

The events and situations you imagine in your fantasies are significant only in the sense that they are what inspire the emotional experience of your dreams. Don’t get attached to these scenarios. Realize that they’ve serve their purpose if they’ve stirred you to feel like the person you aspire to be, then let them go.

Place your faith in the energy (the feeling) inspired by your imagined experience, not the literal scheme of events you’ve invented. Always leave yourself open for whatever wonderous turns life may bring.

Energy, energy, energy; it’s all about the energy.

Tune your energy (by evoking the emotional experience of your desire), wear the energy (by believing your experience is real), and trust the energy (by going with the flow of whatever comes your way in life).

If you’re ever in a space where you find yourself doubting that life is indeed unfolding in a way which will have you meet your dreams, consult your energy.

Know that as long as you are dressed appropriately, bathed in the energy of your aspirations, that despite all appearances to the contrary you may rest soundly in the faith that everything is going to work out okay.

Dark Night of the Soul

by Dillon Shelton and Ronya Banks –

Spiritual seekers, beware!

The path to enlightenment can be both rewarding and treacherous. Many great spiritual seekers throughout time described how their spiritual practices underwent a time period(s) laden with darkness, despair, fear, anxiety, depression, and hopelessness.

This concept was originally coined the “Dark Night of the Soul” by St John of the Cross, a Spanish poet and priest in the 1500’s. References to the Dark Night can also be found in Buddhist, Kundalini, Pagan/Occult, Christian, Jewish and Islamic literatures.

“In a real dark night of the soul it is always three o’clock in the morning.” –F. Scott Fitzgerald

So, what is it? Will I experience it? Is there any way to avoid it? And, if I find myself in this stage, how can I traverse it with the least amount of suffering possible?
The answers to these questions follow…..
The Dark Night of the Soul alludes to a stage of one’s spiritual journey wherein all familiar spiritual feelings and concepts of God, and/or stable conceptual constructs drop away into obscurity, leaving the seeker in a state of profound emptiness and confusion. This is purported to be the true beginning of the path to union in love with the Divine, and/or relinquishing the ego’s grasp.

“Puts the sensory spiritual appetites to sleep, deadens them and deprives them of the ability to find pleasure in anything. It binds the imagination and impedes it from doing any good discursive work.

It makes the memory cease, the intellect become dark and unable to understand anything, and hence it causes the will to become arid and constrained, and all the faculties empty and useless.

And over this hangs a dense and burdensome cloud, which afflicts the sou, and keeps it withdrawn from the good.” –St. John of the Cross

If you have a daily meditation practice or other complementary contemplative practice, you need to educate yourself on the Dark Night stage.

In this case, ignorance is not bliss and can even be detrimental to your mental health.

Britton, a researcher from Brown University’s Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior, is presently studying the difficulties that frequently arise for practitioners of Buddhist meditation.

As she collects empirical evidence of many practitioners, she is appalled at how meditation practice is being marketed to the public in America: as little more than a stress-reduction or relaxation technique. But Britton argues that stress reduction and relaxation are more like side effects than what meditation actually was designed for:

“Meditation comes out of contemplative religious contexts where the goal is — however you want to call it — liberation, awakening, enlightenment; some kind of radical transformation of consciousness.

So I don’t think that it would be surprising to hypothesize that if you practice meditation, it will actually produce some of the consequences that it was designed to produce: a radical transformation of consciousness.

A lot of people are very surprised when their consciousness starts to change, because that’s not what they signed up for. They signed up for stress reduction“.

Many who have traversed the dark night of the soul stage will most likely tell you something like: “It really sucked. I thought I was severely depressed or losing my mind or needing anti-anxiety meds.

When I got through it, the fog lifted and I’ve had a clarity of mind and a deep presence of unshakeable peace and joy that have now become my birthright”.

Daniel Ingram, an outspoken Vipassana Meditation aficionado and Hardcore Dharma teacher has become vocal about equipping Insight Meditation practitioners with knowledge about The Dark Night of the Soul’s stages (also described in Venerable Mahasi Sayadaw’s description of the Progress of Insight).

These stages and their experiential descriptions follow:

  • Dissolution:
Meditating gets harder; concentration wanes; easy to get lost in stories and fantasies; posture can worsen; physical pain during sitting can be prevalent; Ingram calls this the ‘couch potato stage’ due to a general lack of motivation.
  • Fear:
Clarity and intensity begin to return; physical distortions can be experienced on the cushion – characterized by general feelings of unease, paranoia, fear, anxiety, etc.; may experience unsettling visions.
  • Misery:
Unshakable sadness and loss; the ultimate truth of the Three Characteristics (un-satisfactoriness, impermanence and no-self) is tearing down our preconceived notions of self and world; this can cause intense grief; attention continually grows more panoramic;
  • Disgust:
Seemingly impossible to focus attention; easier and easier to get caught up in our ‘stories’; general feeling of disappointment, torment, and frustration with our repetitive minds and an unsatisfactory, impermanent world.
  • Desire for Deliverance:
Longing for release; tendency to look for solutions in our ordinary lives to no avail; experience of hypersensitivity to an incessantly noisy mind; even more intense frustration with it all; powerful urges to renounce or go on a spiritual quest; through it all, determination to move along the path arises.
  • Re-Observation:
“The Wall”; all previous stages manifest together; intense aversion to sitting; high levels of restlessness and confusion; feelings that progress is impossible; non-stop chatter in the mind; disenchantment with life, sex, money, relationships, morality, etc.; more subtle levels of emotion are experienced and can be overwhelming; rare but possible-this stage can manifest in ways very similar to mental illness; ie. Psychotic breakdowns, delusions of grandeur, clinical depression, etc….

The lessons we have to learn during the Dark Night are crucially intertwined with directly experiencing and embodying the three characteristics of existence: un-satisfactoriness, impermanence and no-self.

The grief and sadness one may feel during the Dark Night is directly correlated to the death of the ego.

Even though Ego-death is part of what we are trying to achieve through investigative meditation, when it begins, it isn’t that easy. And as the characteristic of no-self becomes clearer, we often mourn the loss of the “Self”.

Fortunately, not everyone has a hard time with the Dark Night. Some go through it without any troubles at all. No matter the difficulty of the territory, the Dark Night stage must simply be experienced.

“Underlying great doubt there is great satori, where there is thorough questioning there will be a thorough-going experience of awakening.” –Hakuin

Given that I, Ronya, was stuck in this Dark Night Territory for nearly two years after a Vipassana Meditation retreat, here are some tips I learned that greatly supported me and continue to help others get through this difficult period:

  • Realize that you are NOT losing your mind.
  • Do not run and go on anti-depressants or anti-anxiety meds unless you are dangerous to yourself or others…. try to meditate your way through this stage.
  • Do NOT stop meditating!!!!!! No matter how hard it gets (rolling up of the mat period)!! In fact, practice more.
  • Go on an intensive meditation retreat.
  • Open yourself to each stage and experience everything as fully as possible.
  • Mentally name & note each state/sensation…note, note, note!
  • Don’t take it personally.
  • Remember, everything – including this stage is impermanent and will not last forever.
  • Get the support of your sangha, or spiritual group.
  • Get the guidance and support from a skilled teacher in your lineage who can help you navigate the dark night.

Oftentimes in life, the greatest rewards follow our most difficult challenges. There is a beautiful light to be experienced at the end of this tunnel.  Do not fear or expect this stage. But, if you do find yourself in it, rejoice!

Entering the Dark Night is a sign that you are making progress in your spiritual practice.

Plus, as soon as you come through it, you will most likely be rewarded with a positive personal transformation, as well as the skills to deal with life’s future difficulties with much more ease and grace.

Growing a Peaceful Soul

by Guy Finley –

Key Lesson: Learning to step back and to examine your own heart — before you give someone a piece of your mind — is the only way to grow peace in your soul.
Step Out of Yourself and Into the Whole of Life

Real hope for the world begins with discovering what it takes to become a new human being, because when you are no longer who you were but rather the new person that you have been meant to be all of your life, then all of those things that were connected with who and what you once were, cease to be the whole of you. Which means that every single one of your relationships has changed, even if the people in those relationships don’t know that change took place.
No gulf exists between your life and God’s life, except for your awareness of yourself.
No time, no space exists between you and God’s life — only the level of awareness from which you live determines whether you understand this unity or not.
That means the task is not to try to change things in time and space but to bring yourself back into the moment where the possibility of this relationship already exists, and where your realization of it changes everything and everyone involved.
For example, imagine you start to get angry at somebody; of course, the reason your anger grows is because you feel you have the right to be angry. In your mind, the other person did something, and you think you see all the reasons why. But in a flash, something new occurs to you: it’s clear that if you go forward with what you are about to do — even though you think you must in order to change the other person so that you don’t have to go through this again — you can “see” that such an (angry) action changes nothing at all.
In that same moment, you become aware of the whole of yourself… a wholeness that shows you that this anger you say the other person produced “then,” is hurting you now. You see the anger isn’t good for you. You know it isn’t good for the other person. It’s more than evident: this negative state is good for nothing.
To see the truth of this ends the question of what to do with the person and the problem of the pain being blamed on the other person. The choice to set down this suffering is made for you by the same state of self-wholeness that made your suffering evident to you.
Awareness of the whole of yourself changes the whole of yourself in the instant of that awareness.
In that moment, all that you were and ever will be with any other relationship, has found a new path. You don’t know what will happen to you if you don’t express the negative state.
You don’t know what will happen to you if, for the first time in your life, you let go of caring how others might see you if you don’t have the last word. Instead, you’re going to go ahead with what you know is true instead of trying to protect what you sense is false.
You’ve come to that point in the path where you cannot see beyond the unfolding moment but where you are aware that you can no longer be the kind of human being who acts from what is unkind towards anyone at all. Knowing what you can no longer be, you step into the whole of something because you have stepped out of yourself.
It is there you will find that everything is good.
It is there you find out nothing can happen to you that isn’t for you, and nothing can happen to you in such an action that isn’t for everyone else, because you have given your life up for the sake of what is whole.
It’s clear to you. Then, it doesn’t matter where you go, it doesn’t matter what you have to do, the things that weigh don’t matter — all of that simply changes, because now you’re not sitting outside of life trying to figure out who you should be and what you have to do to keep your life in place. You have grown up spiritually. You have decided on the life of the whole, that God wants to give you.

Current Energetic Shifts In Consciousness

by Michael Forrester –

Absolutely everything is a wave of energy and there are many new energies taking place on Earth. We’ve shifted consciousness, but we’re still using old reflections to create our reality. Abundance in all aspects of life is now much easier to achieve in the new vibration and a confidence in our abilities will soon magnify to great levels in the coming years. There will be some obstacles and challenges ahead but know that the following shifts in our being are happening right now as all humans are born into spiritual wealth without practice.

Vibrating frequencies build a virtual construct that makes you think you are in a physical world, but you are not. You are in a holographic universe which is an illusion so well designed, that only the highest beings of light can see it for what it is. This is your destiny, but now you will continue to play this game called Earth at a level never played before. You are still playing with three dimensional rules in a fifth dimensional world, but you’re quickly learning how to make the transition by shifting energy.

Think about all the areas of wellness, whether they be physical, mental, social, lifestyle, morals, the spiritual aspects of life (e.g. new age, Western religion, Eastern spirituality)…they are all enveloped and affected by energy. How you think, feel and act is all energetic Right or wrong, black and white, good and bad don’t really exist but we still need the duality to continue the game in its current form. You will soon discover that everything is a shade of grey.

The most important thing you can do right now is listen to what is whispering to your heart. It won’t shout to get your attention so you must listen very closely to the messages you are receiving.

6 Shifts in Consciousness Being Experienced Now

You are immortal in a physical vessel which you decide is mortal. Your physical vessel does not need to die, but you have come to accept that it will, so it does. There is a balance of well-being that is certain for all of us. You all have a shared pain and part of the process of integration is the understanding of why it exists. Illness is not always a sign that there is something wrong.

To acclimate to new energy, many of you have chosen to push through these physical barriers first. You have been conditioned that you must all naturally contract diseases and take drugs to fix them. This is not so.

You WILL know the eternal nature of your being and you will enjoy putting down your burdens and stop struggling to defend and guard against things you feel have gone wrong and must be made right. This is where most of your pain resides. You will learn to love knowing that you don’t have to fix your planet or anybody else and that everything is just as it should be.

You will come to know that your governments are exactly where they should be as are all your diverse beliefs and desires. Things do not have to change for you to be who and what you came here to be.

It is then and only then that all the “fixing” required by your egos will actually occur, but you will also know that in reality, nothing ever needed to be fixed. You will let go of any resistance and hold yourself in steady alignment. Will it not be a magnificent moment when humanity can just be without having to be something else?
This is where you are headed because you are divine beings of light and you have become masters at this game you call Earth. You no longer need to allow fear and resistance to subject your life to pain. You are moving away from this and transitioning more to love.

Vital energy makes up about 70% of total subtle energy and sustains the physical body, mind, intellect and ego. It is distributed through subtle channels which connect at special points of intensity most popularly known as chakras.

This constructs the physical (voluntary and involuntary actions) and the subtle body (conscious/subconscious mind, intellect and ego).

It is prevalent throughout the body and supplies energy to the cells, nerves, arteries, lymph etc. Some concepts relating to the subtle body are partially understood by scientists, but the level of understanding has always been rudimentary. That is now changing.

Spiritual or Kundalini energy lies dormant in a person until activated. These concepts cannot be measured with current technology. Those who have practiced meditation and spiritual principles at the qualitative and quantitative level have assisted in the continual grace of principles that leads these Kundalini forces on the right path.

However, the shift in global frequencies and fifth dimensional concepts is allowing all of humanity to earn spiritual wealth simultaneously and without the efforts that were once necessary. In the past, people had to work hard to amass spiritual wealth. Now, it will be as if all humans are born into spiritual wealth without practice.

You have received a magnificent upgrade that is allowing this energy to be activated by simply embracing the being that you are. It is leading to spiritual growth at an accelerated rate.

Imagine creating a unified harmony through 800 trillion cells and vibrating them into health and well being. Humming itself produces overtones which can heal your mind, body and spirit. You will begin loving your voice and humming or singing from day to day to assist in accelerating your spiritual growth. It will come natural to you.

You will begin feeling mystic silent overtones vibrating through your cells and body. This will also awaken your deepest desires to be unified with overtones of love and help breakdown stiffness and pain and facilitate your spirit body to flow.

As you begin to breakdown the veil, you will realize you have a shared pain on this planet and it is not your own. It is connected to everyone and everything. There is beauty in that shared pain and you will learn to see it for what it is through energetic harmony.

You will move past specific body pain you thought was your own when it was actually part of the collective. Once embraced, this pain will cease to exist. You will let this pain go because you will understand its origin. Many of you will heal from pain and disease in ways you will think are miracles, but it will be simply the miracle of who you are and nothing more.

What scientific studies have failed to address on the planet is causation. They have tried through many different methods to obtain conclusive results in their scientific research through a countless number of double blind, placebo controlled and random studies which are considered the highest standards for scientific experiment.

We can tell you that there has never been one published scientific study based on this standard that has identified causation beyond sub-atomic levels. Yet it is precisely those levels that cause everything to manifest in the physical body as it does.

Scientific studies can only derive correlations because they do not address energetic causation which is the underlying mechanism behind every single experience and event whether physical or non-physical. 100% of your diseases are based on energetic components within your field. There is NO other cause of disease. Diseases are primarily third dimensional experiences and will cease to exist when you learn to remain at higher dimensions, and you will.

This will be a big one for scientists as many will learn in the coming decade to factor energetic principles as causation before initiating any study. You will all begin to have a better understanding of the effect of energetic resonance and the effects on all physical things. This will revolutionize science and remove many obstacles that have hindered scientific inquiry from progressing on the planet. The physics and the metaphysics will soon combine.

You can only attract what is within your vibrational field. There are no experiences that you can obtain in physical form without attracting them from a vibrational perspective. That includes the most horrific experiences and the most beautiful ones. What you will learn to do is accept relationships and experiences for what they are. People and experiences serve as a reflection to teach you something about yourself.

If somebody says something that offends you, it is because your vibrational field contained an element that needed to be addressed. You will see these people differently. You will thank them for being that reflection and the transfer of energy that was necessary for you to recognize your own vibration. You will honor these people for coming into your life and teaching you what would otherwise be quite difficult to learn without their assistance.

You will come to enjoy the effect that all people have on you, even those you now consider to be obnoxious, rude, insensitive, careless, ignorant, etc. These are qualities you have always judged in yourself and the reflection is only there because you attract it. So start thanking your overbearing boss, nosy neighbour or rude coworker for what they bring to your energy field, because you’ve attracted them into your life for a reason and they’re only doing their job…to be the light you want them to be, and most of the time, it was a mutual effort and request.

Perhaps one of the biggest victories awaiting humanity is the shift from polarity or duality consciousness and the dichotomous right vs. wrong which has resulted in much of the conflict and suffering that exists between men and women, people of various races, the wealthy and poor, the strong and weak.

Hierarchies have also been formed creating further degrees of separation, (good, better, best) where particular persons or events were rigorously judged within this context. This will end.

All of humanity will begin to understand that all experiences and perceptions are neutral in nature and it is only the ego which places an emphasis on good vs. bad, or right vs. wrong. This shift will be part of the grand awakening which is currently well on its way.

You will begin uniting and accepting each other as equals, and this will be passed to your children liberating successive generations from the shackles of duality. Humanity has already begun transcending this pattern.

Life’s experiences which are now viewed in extreme polarity and prejudice will be viewed as the natural order of one’s life. Being present in that observation by loving, allowing and accepting the world will lead to joy, happiness and enlightenment.
The hard part is over. The only thing left to do now is alter your expectations and enjoy the ride. You are a divine being of light and your true nature will soon be all you know.

The pace is now accelerating and the coming changes will also be met by shifts in monetary systems, the political landscape and well as modifications in social and economical infrastructures. This will happen sooner than later, but likely before the end of this year.

Signposts of Fifth-Dimensional Consciousness

by Deborah Zeta –
There are signposts that signal our arrival into fifth-dimensional consciousness. Love and kindness are two signposts upon which our foundation for inter-dimensional experience is based. Love is the highest vibration in the universe; kindness is a natural manifestation of love. Embracing and cultivating love and kindness carries us through the gates of higher dimensions.
We may have a sense of knowing and the ability to access certain forms of higher knowledge but without the ability to live from our heart, we are unable to realize this knowledge in our daily life. Without love, higher knowledge is stillborn and unrealized.

Healing Emotions Allows Communion with our Soul
Practicing love and kindness unites our conscious mind with our heart. When we allow ourselves to experience our feelings, we are able to sit with feelings that may not be comfortable at first.
In time, we work through emotional baggage and are able to experience emotional communion with our soul.
Our soul expresses itself in feeling states; our mind communicates in words. We need both working together to enter a state of oneness within ourselves. Getting our conscious mind to embrace our soul may be difficult if we are overly identified with physical reality.

Releasing Physical-Based Identities
When our identity – who we believe ourselves to be – is solely derived from that which is measurable by the conscious mind, the tendency is to gaze with suspicion on anything we can’t physically measure.
Since the soul resides in the realm of the unseen and speaks to us in feelings through the doorway of the subconscious, a conscious mind entrenched solely in physical reality distrusts the feeling states transmitted via the soul.
Without the soul’s loving and gentle guidance, the mind is able to rationalize most anything. This sometimes sends one’s life down paths that are further and further from its purpose.
An identity that embraces concepts such as meditation, natural healing, service, an active creative imagination and unseen realms is able to free itself of the shackles of physical reality. When we free ourselves from enslavement to the physical, we have much more to share with others. When we are free, we tend to act more from soul desires than from the struggle to survive. When we are free, we love more and treat others with kindness.

Asking for Assistance Opens the Door to Spiritual Wisdom
Identity is one window through which to understand how the soul and mind work together. The conscious mind in some individuals naturally opens to the soul due to spiritual understandings acquired over many lifetimes.
Often a physical event inspires one to reach out and ask for assistance.
When one reaches beyond the physical for help, they gain access to the rich storehouse of wisdom contained in their higher self. This knowledge and wisdom is held in escrow until they’re ready to receive it.
This wisdom is accessed when the conscious mind “asks” for help through the heart feelings and opens to receive it. This is also a formula for manifesting desires into physical reality. The moment our identity shifts so we see ourselves as “one who asks for and receives divine guidance” we begin to access all that our soul holds in “escrow”.

Receiving and Right Use of Trust
The “opening to receive” part of this equation can pose a barrier if there are trust issues. Left to its own devices, the conscious mind places trust according to its own criteria.
For example, we depend on another person so we must “love” them. And because we love them, we must “trust” them. If, at some point, a person proves unworthy of our trust, the conscious mind then computes that trust itself is not worthy.
The fact is, each person can be trusted to act in accordance with their level of spiritual understanding within the moment. No more and no less. It may be difficult for the conscious mind to arrive at this conclusion without the loving guidance of the soul.
Misunderstandings around the issue of trust are one of the major reasons why some people distrust their soul and higher self. When we banish trust, our sole source of information and guidance is the conscious mind.
When a person misunderstands trust, this often triggers feelings of anger and betrayal. Anger bars access to the soul, the higher self, and the soul’s rich storehouse of wisdom and knowledge.

Discernment Teaches Right Use of Trust
Practicing discernment allows us to clear any misunderstandings we have around the issue of trust. Discernment is a province of the union of the mind and soul.
When our mind practices the right use of trust, it understands that we can always trust the love and guidance of our soul and higher self. A conscious mind that opens to this source of loving guidance is able to enter feeling states that allow deepening spiritual communion.
It is this communion that allows one to live a heartfelt existence. The natural outgrowth of a heartfelt life is the practice of love and kindness.

Love and Kindness Unite us with our Soul
When we unite our mind and our soul, we perceive how our words and actions affect others. We see how a leaf quivers at our touch, how the energy of our words affects all those we encounter. A conscious mind with this awareness chooses a path in life with the intent to harm none.
This is the path of the heart and the path of the soul. When we see with our heart, we perceive our path and our truth within each moment. All that is not aligned with our path falls away. This is discernment.
Through the practice of discernment and right use of trust, we are able to develop a stronger communion with our soul and higher self. Love and kindness, as the outer manifestation of this communion, hold the power to carry us into the fifth-dimension and beyond.

Living Abundantly After Self-Realization

Living Abundantly After Self-Realization

by Christine Horner –

You have awakened to your true nature, Oneness with God/Creation. You may or may not still be in the honeymoon phase.  If you’re not sure, symptoms range widely, including but not limited to:  A general disinterest in most everything you were interested in before; a lack of desire to engage in unnecessary busy-ness and activity; a heightened sense of awareness that includes the recognition of the insanity of the rest of the world; an acute kinship with Nature; exuding an aura of being in love, with no one in particular but with the same yearning to lie around and do nothing but simply BE LOVE!

Self-realization, essentially is when you become conscious of being conscious or moving out of separation consciousness into unity consciousness.  Usually it is preceded by a “dark night of the soul” or some type of hardship that acts as a catalyst.

As awakening is the falling away of personal limitation so that consciousness can expand, restrictive beliefs and social constructs are the first things to go.  A common concern for the self-realized individual is how to live abundantly within the desire for full immersion into the Oneness with God experience.  You may be asking how the Universe will take care of your needs.

Creation is designed to thrive—and that includes you.  But, that doesn’t necessarily mean it will look like your current situation and expectations.  What you perceive as needs and what’s best for you are from a limited point of view, crafted mainly from your personal experience within your local culture and conditioning.  Let’s take a look at why those undergoing the transformation into unity consciousness undergo the shared challenge of living abundantly during and after.

Humanity was born out of this spectacular, living organism called Earth.   As we inhabited our home planet initially in a state of harmony, abundance flowed freely, provided one learned to align with the cyclical rhythms of Nature.  As humans grew in technological sophistication, and because of our dualistic nature, we went on to develop unnatural societal structures separating us from Nature, disallowing self-sustainability, as we became a dependent, power-over hierarchy that has made it difficult for humans to thrive.
You may be one of the many initiates to have been hugely disappointed and even shocked to lose all forms of security in your life while on your spiritual journey—your home, your status in the community, career, and maybe even the ability to hold down a regular job.  Friends may have judged you harshly, blaming you for your problems.  Why is God allowing this to happen to me?
Dependence is not interdependence, which is the natural order of a cooperative Universe.  If you expected that the Universe would continue to support the unnatural, man-made competitive chaos you were submerged in—no, mostly likely not.  Why?  Because what man has created is not self-sustainable.
However, the Universe is always supporting you. Meaning you may or may not be “homeless” if your ability to pay the bills falls away (not a bad thing), but you will be fed and sheltered in due course. The fearful part of us that has been conditioned against what is natural will be subjected to those still living in the old paradigm who will find fault and judgment with you no longer participating in the insanity of a dependent society until you embrace your co-creative part in the Universal play/dance as if you’d chosen it.
This can be very challenging for you, and if you have a family who didn’t ask to join you on your expedition into higher consciousness (at least not consciously), it can be extremely difficult.  It’s not uncommon for the old separation paradigm to be so distasteful after the transition that old careers are left by the wayside.

rollercoasterHOW DO I LIVE?

Interdependence means we nurture and support each other, harmonizing with the ebb and flow of all aspects of life.  There will be periods of your life when you will be in the physical service of others, and other times when your activity will become still, in a state of BEing, the vibrational resonance of Love.  (BEing and Doing are two sides of the same coin—a concept third dimensional consciousness, or separation consciousness is unable to comprehend.
Though, it may feel like you will never desire to do much of anything again, the feeling does pass and eventually you begin to move.  What you do is not as important as the intention behind it.  Are you fully present, with a giving heart?  In reality, being in service of others (which is really being in service of Self) has no “levels” of distinction, nor hierarchy.
  • Don’t Be Afraid to Ask for Help – Enlightened or not, those souls who will be your support system can be right in  front of you; sometimes the ones you least expect.  You may need help with shelter, food, and more.  You ask for help knowing that one day you will offer it, the circle of life personified.  It is only in separation consciousness that asking for help is seen as a sign of weakness—in actuality it is a sign of strength.
  • Uncover Your Inner Genius/Life’s Purpose – If you haven’t yet, begin discovery work on your unique energetic signature known as your life’s purpose by exploring what you are passionate about and enjoy doing.  Your life’s purpose isn’t about money, but it is inextricably linked to working cooperatively with the Universe so that you may thrive and be abundant.
  • Seek Out and/or Create Cooperative Community – Now that you wish to reside fully in Mind/Body/Spirit, you may feel led to seek out and/or create a local interdependent community.  Ashrams, shambalas, cooperative communities, etc. have existed around the globe for thousands of years.  When in the presence of these advanced consciousness souls, your needs will be provided for without discrimination, guilt or shame.  You may work within these communities part or full-time, or some communities may offer you respite as you fully integrate into Unity Consciousness.
To be ready and willing to let go of unnatural societal dependence on your way to becoming a sovereign being in union with all of Creation/God is an act of great courage.  Most don’t willingly (consciously) do so, but are led down this path as part of their spiritual journey by their super-conscious—no two experiences exactly alike.
When every one of your fears finally falls away, then you will truly be free.  Until then, it can be a quite a roller coaster ride. Breathe. Absorb the twists and turns, highs and lows, by relaxing into your body, rather than resisting. Follow the energy wherever it takes you. Just when you can’t take it anymore, open your heart even wider, as if you have no choice. For, the truth is, the choice was already made.
